Ready for showdown

Dravid – OUT, Sachin – OUT, Ganguly – OUT, Laxman – OUT. The grand old men of Indian Cricket will not play any more part in this years IPL. A combined take home salary of 12+ crores and nothing to show for it…. thank God it wasn’t our money 😉

Whether they will return is anyones guess. Expect some major changes in the off-season.

So its Delhi vs Rajasthan and Chennai vs Punjab. We shall see. I am keeping my fingers crossed for the Rajasthan team since I own part of the team.

 

After Bomb Blast rats want to jump

Darren Berry says that they are extremely uncomfortable returning to Jaipur and playing there. Ungrateful buggers were siting in Goa when it happened. Now they are considering quitting. I will be extremely surprised if Shane Warne follows him but you never know.

We’ll miss the Aussies but the show will go on. Theres enough players in the sub-continent who will make the IPL successful.

I just wish Javed Miandad would disappear. The guy keeps cribbing about everything. Now hes saying that IPL sucks etc etc.. Hey guru we dont need to be told that…

Anyway what are you cribbing about? No one offered you a job? My guess is that they are afraid of your “relation” by marriage to a certain underworld don. Maybe he could have bought a team for you.

Anyway dont thing we can use you here. Why dont you see if you can start a league in Dubai? Maybe a tennis ball game? They do have cricket teams there… you and 5 other people can watch.

And Wasim Akram has echoed his sentiments as well. This boy I tell you… we looked after him so well.. now he comes back and bites us.. who do you think got him that commentary deal? Shaz and Vaz etc…Well time to pull the plug I think.

15 Minutes of Fame

People said that the IPL opening ceremony was our 15 minutes of fame. So Pawarji and the rest of the BCCI folk decided to speak 15 minutes each. For that we got booed.

I feel this treatment is totally not deserved. Pawarji was so upset that he refused to drink a cup of tea. I also refused tea and had beer instead.

This English is a funny language.

In the meantime, several people are commenting on how the cameras keep focussing on the celebreties in the stands… well people you have to live with it… though I am upset that the TV guys keep prefering Preity Zinta to high officials from the BCCI… that is totally not correct. I mean come one… Pawarji is quite photogenic (in his own way). Anyway next match we will sit with SRK and keep waving.

Shah Rukh Khan is pissed off

SRK is cribbing. That fellow is making all kinds of comments in the press like ki we did not paint the entire picture in front of him. We did paint the entire picture.. except it was rosy..

Well well Mr. King Khan.. what do do now? Money has been given and has gone into the “black hole” called the BCCI Bank Account.

Apparently he is upset that only few tickets have been sold. This is Kolkatta bhai… free tickets are expected… communist way of life. Also upset that Shoaib Akhtar is banned and cannot play.

I have a suggestion, can Akhtar be used as a cheerleader?

Come on SRK we need to be creative and not keep complaining saar… please have more launches and keep dancing. Cricket is secondary.

I just hope this thing does not spread to other franchises.
